QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Oct 18 2011, 09:44 PM) urgh....might wanna change that PSU http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index.htmlhave high ripple issue and RMA HD6850 sucks more power then HD5850 I used this calculator and entered my specs. The top power draw is only 462W. So I think that it's gona be ok. |

QUOTE(yijinchua @ Oct 18 2011, 10:32 PM) http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index.html not ok, total power is 462w, but your psu wont be able to supply 462w at +/-12v rail, which mean your real power is not anywhere near 450wI used this calculator and entered my specs. The top power draw is only 462W. So I think that it's gona be ok. you should get a power supply with the total real power output that is equal to 462w + 20% to be safe, which mean a 550w real power psu should be safer and less stress on the psu |

QUOTE(victor2212 @ Oct 19 2011, 12:31 PM) lol, nvm la but i think your quad will bottleneck the 6950. Upgrade only when ivy bridge out la nah my quad doing fine, its not being over-worked, so no bottleneck happening + i had no issues being one of the few first to spawn into the planes at the start during the beta i have same psu as u lol. < cheap last time. i play bc2 use more tha 4gb ram already, now using 6gb with 64bit. Considering add another 2gb stick 40 rm and u obviously never streamline ur windows and disable alot of useless services, so ur ram usage of cos so high. my bc2 on win7 64bit never goes past 3gb of ram. bf3 beta that time at most around 3.3gb ram used.
