Actually I find it rather informative and leading us to more choices with slight deviation from the topic. Problem is that not many new threads here that talks about sofa, the choices, values and this is one that is more active besides the rm 6k thread recently. Will visit Florentino and others today to check their ranges. I will also check out the group purchase thingy. End of the day, we want good value and choices. This is where forum like this helps.

Bro prop99, thanks for helping me get the special price for the group purchase sofa. I have been using it for 6 months, fully abused mostly by my 2 kids and despite all, it still look very new. I supposed the thick leather is of a great help compared to my older set using thin leather which wrinkle out very fast.

Anyway, I am interested to get another set of sofa for my upstairs replacement. I would like to have the same type leather sofa but this time not in L configuration but in 1 + 3 seater. Can you pm me the link to the details. Thank you.

I have the same problem with my coffee table using plywood panels to construct. Look great but once kena water, it's bye bye.

Now looking for a new coffee table.

I also have problem with leather sofa before. 2 years ago I bought one set and it sank. Tear off the bottom cloth and saw the elastic band all stretch out.

Another set about 5 years ago, choose colour and then the leather comes with different feel and quality. Both shop don't know where they are now.

Sure is best to learn from other people experience.

Anyone has experience with Cellini sofa. Think of getting a set. Just want to know if it is reliable and durable.

Recently, trying to help a friend furnish an apartment. Went shopping in many furniture stores in PJ, near Sri Petaling, Viva and some recent exhibitions for Sofa and Dining sets. By the time I go through some stores, I already got confused on the products especially the sofa upholstery. For leather alone, different stores confused each other up from the quality type.

Then go to one store with something to our liking. The store claim that softer bovine leather is top quality leather. Then you choose some harder leather, they say more expensive as it is better quality eve! So their tactic, draw you to some design you like first. Then either you choose the same show piece leather and there will be no extra charge. Any variation, you will be whack extras. Variation can include some extra or reduce cushioning, extra or reduce length and so on.

Pretty lame sales tactics. Mainly trying to confuse buyers.

After spending the weekends on the shop for furniture, end up a waste of time. So much of unprofessional sales tactics.

Two days ago contact prop99 for the sofa. All done in a jiffy.

Buying sofa nowadays is getting more difficult. After visiting a few retailers, you will become confused. If you are buying leather sofa, you will be totally confused by the retailers. Lower grade leather can be preached to be expensive type and exclusive. If one is not careful, you can be conned as well.

China made sofa usually produced in volume but definitely lacking in quality for many.
