Hi, I am considering buying a sofa from a place called Florentino Furnishing. Shop is in SS2.

The sofa is L-shaped, 3+2, fabric cushions with leather looks. RM 3580. Anyone used this brand before? Any comments?

I brought my sofa from them 5 months ago. Only plan to get delivery in November.
I would say their design is unique.
The closest brand that has a slightly similar theme is Casserini.

The thing about florentino sofa is the depth of the seat.

Mainly fabric but a very exclusive range.
They have a fabric that feels like leather. . . nice
Some fabric is reserved only for a particular model of sofa as per their Italian designer instruction and insistence.

OK thanks for your update. Anyway I manage to buy a large set of Korean Export Sofa today at rm 2800 from a friend who does the export business. 9+ ft long, European size, comes with thick leather in the seating area. Very good price I guess for a top selling model.

They manufacture and export the furniture. No shop but factory. All sofa meant for export market now. Just sneak about a dozen sets from them for some friends as well.

Thanks webby for getting me the sofa. Anyway, I want to check with you whether it is possible to get another for my brother. He like it when he saw my set and just could not believe the quality at that price. If you need more sets to order from the factory let me know as I can group a few more buyers. Maybe you could extend this offer to Lowyat members whom may be interested to get a set as they are of great value.

Let me check with webby about getting sofa from the factory. I know there should be at least a certain minimum order. I shall try to post the photo of my sofa later but nothing compare to seeing it with your own eyes and feeling it.

Looks like we have some level of interest here. webby told me he will be discussing with the factory in the next few days and advise for those who is interested, it is best to view the actual set and not only judge the photos alone. He will make arrangements for viewing if there are interest but will be in KL/PJ area.
