QUOTE(squarepilot @ Sep 30 2011, 12:09 AM) sifus: None of them is my fav at the moment, and if you ask me to really choose 1, I will chooese PCHEM.ok. few stocks is on my list IOI CIMB tenaga pet chem limit 10K, i think i know which 1 to go for but any advice on these? CIMB > Don't like the management team + too GLC linked already Tenaga > Reported losses and also very GLC. IOI > Diversified in Plantations and Property but did not really stand out on the pure competence to be absolute on one. There are better stocks out there which offer pure exposure on plantation and property. Just my view, and my lousy 2 cents.. cheeers This post has been edited by andrewckj: Sep 30 2011, 12:24 AM |

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Sep 30 2011, 12:23 PM) I mean for today so far, KLCI fail to break the 1,400 level. Volume is there, but people still cautious. If they think the bull is back, they should continue to chase those KLCI components stock. PCHEM are still at 5.4x, CIMB, AXIATA, GENTING at current price are still very attractive for those bull believers. The fact is that FF is still very very skeptical with current condition. This signal that people are still cautious. And when the selling started, everyone seem to follow suit. Didn't we had too much experience of this trend "morning green then slowly turn into red". That's my view. Not until the Euro has come up a solution to contain the debt crisis, there should be more volatility. Those news that reported "EURO are working, etc etc " basically just serve as a aspirin which only provide relief but not a true solution. Just like you have said, it is good to have extra cash on hand, a balance between cash and stock exposure. We don't know where will the market be heading to. Too much uncertainty, not only on the international side, but as well as our inner domestic side. Just my 2cents. This post has been edited by andrewckj: Sep 30 2011, 12:32 PM |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 30 2011, 03:36 PM) In finance, Black Monday refers to Monday, October 19, 1987, when stock markets around the world crashed, shedding a huge value in a very short time. The crash began in Hong Kong and spread west to Europe, hitting the United States after other markets had already declined by a significant margin. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) dropped by 508 points to 1738.74 (22.61%).[1] Luckily this coming 19th october is not on Monday.. Lols? |

SP SETIA last done at 3.90.
Could it be Tan Sri Liew asking his supplier, staff, and all his network to buy SP SETIA shares so that PNB cannot acquire more than 50%? Interesting saga ahead for SP Setia.. |
