QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 8 2011, 09:25 PM) nikon NC filters also have very high transparency and easy to clean. and they're cheaper than the hoya pro1 and b+w equivalents. reason i guess why ppl dont go for nikon, is cos ppl think they need a uv filter which the NC isnt. i am using nikon NC filter for all my 105 / 24-70 /70-200 only my 50mm using B+W

i not exactly sure. it all start with my 105mm micro VR, previously i was all using B+W, but the time i bought my macro lens, the B+W is out of stock, so out of curiosity i try on the nikon NC. after sometime, they have stock for B+W back , and i did purchase that too.
after i test several times, i find that B+W on that particular lens has very slight pink colour, compare to NC. and nikon NC has slightly better green colour to my eye... my reference is based on my samsung sync master XL2370 calibrated with spider 3.
if calibration off, i will prefer the colour of B+W, but if calibration on, i think i slightly more prefer nikon NC. then after that when i purchase 70-200 follow by 24-70 i go straight for nikon NC.
