The price is above average chapalang filter, but it's still about 40%~50% cheaper than those expensive range filter such as Hoya HD and B+W XS-Pro. I'm not sure of the current price as many carry it with different price tag, but for 77mm should be more or less around RM160 ~ RM150. Robust filter and that should be sufficient if you're looking for something to protect the front element without degrading the photo quality

Nikon in Thailand under attack!

dang.... i experience the same prob with my D200 during my last job this past weekend.. suddenly it won't focus.. turn off, turn on also won't focus.. i thought my body got prob as well..  or worst, my 70-200 VR.. changed to my 35mm prime also won't focus.. *phew (D200 kong still ok then my 70-200 kong).. hehe..

but then i removed the battery grip, tried with 1 battery and it focused again.. plug the grip back in with both batteries and everything is fine.. hm.... made my face went pale.. cos i did not bring my spare body..

p/s : i'm using ori batt grip MB-D200 with 2 ori batts...

seems like the MB-D11 logic board has some problem already.

Had this problem on my MB-D200 before, cost of repair from Nikon will be RM250-300

Whoah... interesting topic on the grip... Now I shall take note if it happens to mine or not. So far so good. Maybe its the contact point issue perhaps.

Can use, but the usage and handling will need some practice and get used to; If used and handled correctly, can be used to create nice video.
One issue is the stability, you need to try it out and take some video to see it yourself. The lens with "VR" (Vibration Reduction) may help in video to reduce vibration but overall, you still need to learn to handle it, and also learn some basic settings and adjustment for video.
For this, those more experience can help to comment.

For stability, you can get those "grip" specially for DSLR video recording to help for stable holding; and you might also want to consider external mic for better sound/audio recording.

The 16GB Extreme Pro seems cheap? Only RM20 difference from 8GB? But check 32GB, it's a whopping RM531... I can't remember how much I saw during previous KLPF already.

A check here, the 16GB seems should be close to RM300; The price listed in Yamiya is typo? Since the 8GB and 32GB prices are about the same...

Actually the price in Malaysia is expensive. I conducted a bulk 2 months ago for 16GB Kit from BHphoto (2x 16GB) for only RM250. That's RM125 for each.

yalor, the Canon Flash hotshoe seem bulkier than nikon's, totally cant slot in.

Some light rain shouldnt be a problem, i've used my D90 before in those condition and no problem until today. Now try combine light rain + paintball palletes come flying at you. Now that will seriously fook your day if it hits your camera but so far havent kena yet

focusing issue is not a problem if you have a dslr with AF fine tune ability. Or have the intuition to test several copies before making your purchase.

i feel like buying the P7100...anyone got one here?

AW100 only offers the dust / water protection.
