I9020 is SAMOLED screen and I9023 is SC-LCD screen and a bit thicker than I9020 bcoz of the screen. Others spec is same.

The Super AMOLED screen is just super, its the main reason why I got the phone. I would have gotten the SGS if its still not stuck at 2.1 with all the GPS issues. However, note that at close range, you can make out checkboxes on a total white screen, I read that this is because of the Pentile technology. So at close range (less than a foot from eye), the iPhone screen actually looked better, but at normal distance, it looked better than iPhone's retina. People who have not seen Super Amoled should try it out first with the SGS.

Contrary to a lot of reviewers that dislike the placement of the power button at the side, I liked it a lot, when I pull it out of my pocket, there's where my thumb is and I can unlock it without moving anything. Its better than having it at the top (which you have to move your index finger to unlock it), or at the front (where your thumb will have to turn in an awkward manner).

The phone is extremely light, my previous phone was a HTC Magic, and I could always feel it in my pocket, but this Nexus S, though it have 4 inch screen instead of 3.2, I couldn't feel it in my pocket, and there's more than once that I thought my phone is not in my pocket.

The back cover is extremely hard to remove compared to other phones, unlike the previous nokia, motorola, samsung and htc that I have, this one we just need to prank it open, and to be honest, sometimes I am afraid of breaking the back cover!
