If you mention about i9020 SuperAMOLED model, yes it is rare and most of them you found in Malaysia is i9023 which is the S-LCD model

Happy hunting, you can get from AP dealers for 999 (S-LCD version) of course the SAMOLED ones is much expensive and super-duper rare.

Not to mention 9250 is "delicious" and "tasty" inside out

First, Go Settings> Applications > Manage Applications > All > Market > Clear Data/Cache
Then try redownload again, if not working just downgrade your market to the old version and try download again...
If not working... I dunno what to said -.-

Sometimes it can't download because your download has considered redundant download... (data loss)

go to adb shell...
su
mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
mv /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg.old
mv /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg.old
exit

For non-root devices... ringer volume reduce to maximum.

About TV-out I think no TV-out for nexus S.

Nope, just curious.

Stock Rom is great, but if you don't mind can try the ICS SDK or wait the official ICS release. Although, got some bugs but still can use as daily drive

there is an Official MIUI Rom for Nexus S, but the vanilla android is already awesome... somehow it is getting ICS soon... If you want nexus series that badly... go for S even thou is single core but it is snappy like those dual cores.

If you want a Dual Core with vanilla android? Galaxy Nexus is the best choice but the release date is still unknown...

Flashing and Root Nexus S is easy, don't worry about it.

You must mean't the i9020 and i9023. In Malaysia you can get i9023 (S-LCD) Model easily from AP or Maxis, if you want an AMOLED? which is i9020 version. The only way to get it is via AP dealer...

Availability of accessories can purchase via online or garage sales in lowyat forums.

You don't compare vanilla UI with those with included skins and UI. Of course it will faster, if both on Vanilla Android (Gingerbread) then you will see those in dual core is snappier than Nexus S. You can't compare a pure Gingerbread with a Exotic Flavoured Gingerbread right? Since, those require more ram than normal Gingerbread...

Don't compare Orange and Pear... both different items even thou they label as fruit.
