Downloaded. Apprehensive about installing it. Just go to recovery and install from SD card right? Do i need to wipe anything? I'm about 1 year+ late with the Nexus S. So i missed out a lot of stuff. In the newer ROM threads, they expect everyone to know how to flash a new rom. rclxub.gif

are you on clockworkmod recovery ?

for safety . make backup ( nandroid ) before you proceed to wipe data then just install from sd card.

Does nandroid backup the apps and data on my phone as well? Or do i need to do titanium?

Can you link me to a guide of doing a nandroid backup? Never done one before as my Defy practically does not need one. If brick, just flash back to official SEA SBF. rclxub.gif

u can find the menu in Clockworkmod recovery , it called backup and restore

it backup all the state of the phone include everythings.

you can easily restore it by entering the clockworkmod recovery in case anything happen .

you need to do titanium for easy restore in the new roms.

You should try flashing the Franco kernel for ICS instead. after flashing ICS is much smoother

Download the kernel from your mobile browser smile.gif and then use CWM to install the .zip

Heres the direct link:
