Man Made Granite

There are man-made granite and there are solid surface top. The two of them are not the same.
Now, I'm not an expert here, but I would venture to say that man-made granite is not as durable as granite. I've never seen a broken granite top before, but I've seen broken man-made granite before. But then again, I think it is more than enough to withstand a normal kitchen use.
