Man Made Granite

Hi guys,
I am looking for granite for my kitchen top. I came across a granite which i really like. However according to the sales person, its a man made granite (made in china). I am a bit skeptical about the quality. Has anyone here used it before? Thanks in advance  |

its not solid surface bro. i have a sample with me right now. will post up a picture later. it looks and feel exactly like granite. its slightly lighter than granite though

I've never seen a broken granite top before, but I've seen broken man-made granite before. But then again, I think it is more than enough to withstand a normal kitchen use. |
