QUOTE(weikee @ Apr 30 2013, 03:41 PM) Got so cheap? Interesting, I didn't know you need agent to import routers.Ebay Malaysia? or Ebay oversea? Oversea, you need AP to import communication devices. Or you have to pay agent to do it. Don't ask me why, I am not sure too why need AP.. Another method for "the selected" to make money. Hope the current network switches won't have issue. |

QUOTE(soonwai @ May 10 2013, 11:40 AM) L2TP works if I connect from internal wifi. When I try to connect from outside (3G) through WAN interface, unable to see the server. My config: WAN -- Linksys RV042 -- RB750GL I already enable port forward in Linksys RV042. 1) UDP port 1701 2) UDP port 500 The log from Linksys shows that external connection received and forwarded at port 500, however the RB750GL does not receive the data. (I did not see any port 500 connection in IP-->firewall-->connection) I suspect the RB750GL's default firewall setting is causing the problem. Can I delete all the setting under the firewall rules? |

QUOTE(eric_tan @ May 17 2013, 07:22 PM) I am running a L2TP transparent VPN between 2 mikrotik routers, no issues. I remove the RV042 and use the RB750 as the main router and L2TP server, everything working fine now. What are you doing with your RV042? Having 2 router setup can really complicate matters... Your mikrotik is connected as a ROUTER? or as a switch? what is the purpose of your Mikrotik? |

For those using Microtik routers on fiber, anyone using Microtik's own GPON ONY SFP module?
I wonder how to persuade telekom to configure it from their side. https://mikrotik.com/product/SFPONU#fndtn-specifications |

QUOTE(MX510 @ Sep 19 2018, 04:28 PM) I don't think TM or any other ISP allowed it Hmm, I wonder will it work if I just plug my current unifi fiber cable into it.I already check the GPON BTU only got your port capped speed on it and bridging for voip no other fancy config on it [attachmentid=10030822] Anyway this was my project end of August and Early September using CRS-328 and sfp module |
