I am about to buy this in replacement of my N16.
Reading the past 15 pages I notice that this router is not at all stable and has issues.
Please enlighten me if this is sorted out? or is this router just a geek plaything?

I am looking at either Mikrotik RB750 where I will use the Asus N16 as AP or the RB751U-2HnD

Which is the better route to go?

I got the RB751U-2HnD just to whet my curiosity.
Managed to get it connected to internet but i noticed by speedtest dl is on 5-9mbps and ul is 14mbps.
Issue is i have UniFi 20.
Can someone share with me their backup file so I can learn from it.

Using LAN cable I get the speed - in fact 10% faster 22-24mbps.
Its the wireless thats screwed.

After upgrading to the beta.

My speedtest post is taken using the Asus N16 set as AP but using the RB751U as router.
Using the Mikrotik as AP I get 10mbps on average DL and 15 UL.
However using the Mikrotik wifi my AppleTV live streaming is very stable with barely any buffering.

I guess I need to uncheck TKIP and use AES as suggested by one of the posters on MT forum and possibly change from 20/40 to just 20Mhz

What are your thoughts?

After testing the beta 6.02 how to revert to stable 5.15?
