Hi. I've just bought RB751G-2HnD and configured it according to klseet.com for Unifi. Need some tweaking to make it work as I'm totally noob on MikroTik and it is of different model from RB750 example. Problem is I did not know what I did to make the WiFi working, spent half a day toying with just the WiFi setup. I change protocol from default nv2 nstreme 802.11 to just 802.11 to finally get my laptop able to see the SSID but still not able to get an address from DHCP. I click a few thing and voila, my laptop got the IP. Hope someone can help me or point me to right direction to understand actual setup or configuration to make the WiFi work in case it stop working in future, I'll know what to check. I googled a lot on this but did not find anything helpful. Thanks.

Thanks for the pointer. Still could not understand why my laptop and android phone not able to see my SSID when wireless protocol set to default nv2 nstreme 802.11. It will work only when set to 802.11. Any explanation on this part? Thanks.

nv2 nstreme , is actually a modified 802.11 that is use for wireless bridging

u need to select the vanilla 802.11

read the documentation on the different radio type that is available

Sorry, I read but just don't understand it. I'll follow whatever you said. One more question. I'm going to setup a vlan trunking. There is already an existing bridge-local that bridge ether2-master to wlan1 interfaces. If I create a vlan.500-trunk with ether5-slave port. Can I just add vlan.500-trunk to the existing bridge-local so that it can bridge to ether2-master as well or I need to create a new bridge for connecting vlan.500-trunk to ether2-master. I'm following klseet.com instruction on vlan trunking which originated from you as well. Thanks.

What do you want to do? VLAN 500 is the router / dialer to access the pppoe.

I want to trunk both Unifi vlan 600 and vlan 500 thru ether5 to my RB250GS. Based on klseet.com instruction, I need to create a new bridge called LAN to connect vlan.500-trunk to ether2-master. I already have a bridge called bridge-local that connect wlan1 (wireless lan port) to ether2-master. I want to find out if I can just add vlan.500-trunk to bridge-local or need to create a new bridge (LAN) to connect vlan.500-trunk to ether2-master.
