Hi all, this is my situation. I have two switch running ip range of 192.168.1.X and 192.168.2.X. I need to be able to get both ip range to ping each other. Around 50 computers in total.

Would anyone recommend a router and how to configure it?Thank you.

alot of data moving between the network ? then get a gigabit capable router...

then configure the network accordingly.. and the router will do the routing..

eg port1 192.168.1.X/255.255.255.0 , port 2  192.168.2.X/255.255.255.0

Just a few questions.

1)would this model RB951G-2HnD be suitable?
2)would the product be able to assign ip range for each port?
3)If yes for 2. Do I need to do the routing or the router would be smart enough for those two ip range to communicate?
