sifus, what is the different of clicking restore & shift + restore in itunes?
for jb (from 4.3.3 to 5.0.1) is it best to set up as new phone or backup?
i've click setup as new phone, 1st i thought the phone should be restore as per a new phone without any apps install but then again all the apps was automatically sync in, so what is the different setting up as new phone & backup?
after restore will all my previous cydia tweak be loaded in or i need to re-tweak everything again.

thanks

thanks for the heads up LimMC

1 & 3 understood but for 2 i did chose to restore as new phone but itune have sync in all the contacts (mix up together mine with my bro id contacts) & some of the apps not all. how could this happen? as you said it should be a clean phone but this is not the case. hmm.gif how to separate my contacts & my bro contacts when syncing?

regards

3gs user here. originally was 4.3.3 upgraded to 5.0.1 but found some cydia tweaking is not compatible so downgraded back to 4.3.3 but found the system files partition was almost full with some cydia files which were automatically installed when i jb from jailbreakme 3.0. when i try to install my preferable tweaking it auto delete some of the pre-install cydia file which jeopardise the launching of cydia. i've tried to restore & redowngrade again but still the system partition was full without installing anything yet.
anyone encounter this problem? how to free up the space in the system partition?

thanks
