seems many ppl are facing problems after jb 5.0.1. that makes me want to delay to upgrade and jb my i4 now.

hey peeps, does anyone knows how to save game data/file??? i'm upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 soon and have backup-ed my iPhone. but i do not know how to save game files...? don't want to lose all my saved game in Infinity Blade II. =/

so once i upgrade to new firmware i just sync from old backup that's all? i thought this would only give my apps back, but without saved data/file.

guys. now 0.9.10b3 has released but i downloaded the 0.9.10b1 one. my question is, does 0.9.10b1 still able to use it to jb?

anyone facing problem with iMessage on a 5.0.1 jb i4??? whenever i turn on my iMessage my phone will hang and i have to force to restart.

omg i just removed biteSMS from my iPhone and now iMessages doesn't crash or hang anymore!!!! but i still can't send any iMessages, all still green color. o.O???

Hi guys. I have a weird question here. earlier i read on some random website saying someone did the Erase Content and Settings and that fixed his iMessage so i did that... but then the loading took too long (approximately 15 minutes) and i also found out that for jb phones it would stuck at recovery mood by doing so i quickly force shut it. (Hold power and home button till phone shuts down) but now my phone is working fine just wondering will this damage the phone?

I suggest this steps if any of you are experiencing any issues (crashes etc etc) 1. Backup your iPhone to iTunes (or iCloud, whichever you prefer) and Go to iTunes Preferences and under Devices tick Do Not Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone Automatically. 2. Fresh restore your iPhone (Do a Shift + Restore via iTunes which would require you to download the full 790MB 5.0.1 IPSW Download Link for All Firmware Files ) This will wipe your iPhone clean and install a fresh firmware into the iPhone 3. Set your iPhone as a new iPhone (don't restore as yet) 4. Jailbreak your iPhone using redsn0w 0.9.10b3 (Link to Download versions of redsn0w) 5. Set your Lockscreen Auto-Lock to "Never" 6. Open Cydia and WAIT for it to FULLY load all the repos (this can take 5-10 minutes, yes that long). If the loading fails, exit Cydia and re-run it (you can reboot or re-spring). If it does not load automatically, go to Changes Tab and press refresh. Wait for it to download all the lists of apps from the repos. 7. Add your repos of choice 8. Wait for it to load 9. Install your favorite tweaks Once everything looks okay and the phone seems stable 10. Connect to iTunes 11. Restore your backup to get back all your Contacts/Calendars/Settings/SMS/Game Saves/ etc etc etc 1. backup from itunes 2. shift + restore to upgrade to 5.0.1 3. restore from backup (at this step my apps are failed to install thru iTunes) 4. run redsnow and jb (after this step i did not restore from backup again) 5. sync back all my apps (success) that's it.. everything was okay i download all my favourite tweaks and everything runs smoothly.. except iMessage. it crashes everytime i activate it or turn it off. did a research on google and saw someone did a 'Erase Content and Settings' and it fixed it but then soon realized that this would make a jb phone stuck on recovery mood so i quickly force shut it (hold power and home button)... and surprisingly it can be restarted and everything was back to normal (apps data are still in my phone). soon later i suspected it was biteSMS that causes iMessage to crash and i uninstalled biteSMS and iMessage is working now... my question: is anyone facing iMessage problem when you have biteSMS installed? and by doing the 'Erase Content and Settings' will damage my jb phone??? Hi guys. Im on iOS 5.0.1 untethered jb. Just jb my phone last week. But due to some problems and not so smooth. I decided to restore as new phone, then re-jailbreak my phone again. Dont wanna restore from backup as I saw ppl said if restore from backup from a jailbroken phone will transfer back bad or corrupted files thus giving problem. So guys, do I still need to shift+restore and click the 5.0.1 ipsw file? Or I just need to restore it as new iPhone straight on iTunes, then just jailbreak it?? I never done restoring as new phone before.
