Hi guys,
Anybody used the Pana Skype camera yet with their Panasonic Plasma? How is the experience, any issues getting connected esp. if the other side is on PC?
Reason I asked - i read on Amazon feedbacks it says that both side must have the same Pana Skype camera and similar Pana TV only then can work - which I find it's quite stupid if that's the case ?
Thanks in advance....

Incidentally, can I just ask whether you guys did the plasma break-in procedure before you kena the image retention problem? http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/hdt...ma-display.htmlI'm contemplating getting the 65 inch ST50 (upgrading from my VT20), was just wondering if the ST panel is still giving the image retention issue if you guys had done the break-in. Thanks....

QUOTE(aj350z @ Jan 14 2013, 04:09 PM) Took the plunge yesterday and bought a 65st50 at Harvery Norman. They delivered this afternoon and so far so good! Can't wait to get home tonight to calibrate and play around with it... Does anyone have any links to recommended calibration settings? I think I heard of David Katzmaier's and D-nice's calibration - do they apply to MY sets? Also any tips on burn in would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Make sure to run-in your plasma to minimize burn in... at least 100 hours. Hope this helps, I've used the below program for running-in my VT20, so far no burn in. http://www.eaprogramming.com/... congrats on getting 65st50.... am itchifying to get a 65incher... Hi Anfieldude, Thanks for explaining....does it mean, in your opinion there's no need then to do burn in? I thought the fact that breaking in help to mature the phosphors to a certain state as you mention, helps to minimize the effects of burn in. Of course, this doesn't help if one leaves the logo/black bar for really extended period, there will be still be chances of burn in - is that correct to say? Thanks in advance... QUOTE(anfieldude @ Jan 14 2013, 09:35 PM) Running in or breaking in the plasma does not really minimize burn in. Its important to understand that with plasma varying the content and watching responsibly is more important. Remember that static bright logos/black bars during the early hours of the plasma is best avoided. This is due to the nature of the phosphor based display. The different phosphors have different characteristics and to bring all of them to a certain state together the manufacturers normally drive each one differently during the early hours of the display.
