I am interested to buy the 65ST and like Laksh7 am very concerned on the IR problem. After the break-in period using the 'break-in' slides, do you think the IR will still be an issue when I;

1) 90% watching Astro (ESPN/Astro Sports/Discovery Channel/Animal Planet/CSI). On certain days, I watched the football games for continuous 6 to 8 hours depending on how many consecutive games.

2) 10% movies.

Historically for Pana when new models are announced in Jan when will the price of the previous year models (eg. VT50 series) start to drop, May/June?

Senq Leisure Mall, Cheras is selling the 50ST50K at RM 3,199 for the next 3 days as part of their grand opening celebration. Only 20 units at this price.

I did not buy it as I was looking for the 65ST or 65VT but unfortunately they did not have special price for these 2 models. I think one of the forummers bought it there at the special price last week.

Last week HN Pavilion was selling it for RM 8,299 - price dropped.

2 weeks ago I inquired at Onking Pandan Indah and a lowyat seller (iamsobloodysick) and both quoted me just below rm 10K. Harvey Norman Pavilon selling at rm 11,999.
