Sad to find out WT series only have 55 inches model in Malaysia. Looks like have to choose DT series only. WT series black level should be better than DT series.

Hi,
any one can help,
Panasonic THL42E3K  LED TV or LCD TV??

Thanks...

It is LED lcd tv smile.gif Technically it is still a lcd tv but because it use LED to lit the tv panel, marketing ppl decide that LED sound much cooler than lcd for average consumers.

Next question, edge lit LED or back lit LED? tongue.gif

icic...
btw, diff between edge lit LED or back lit LED?  ^^

Check this wiki

Full array back lit LED with local dimming is very expensive but it give you the best black level in lcd tv.

Most 2012 model is still edge lit because it is cheaper and slimmer compare to full array back lit. I haven't notice any manufacturer announce new back lit LED.

OLED have the best of plasma and led. Can't wait for the day OLED tv reach at average price of the tv now.
