I am finally switching over to Plasma from CRT and I am in favour for the Panny 50" U30 FHD panel. Don't need 3D but appreciate value. What's the best price for this TV? I am in Penang, so would appreciate tips to where to get the best deal. I went to SEC and they are selling at RM3499 with 2 years warranty. Any better deals out there?

I found a shop in Penang selling the P50U30K FHD for RM2799, cash price only. I think this is the best price so far. Not sure if they have stock. No time to ask as after browsing Jusco, HN, and SenQ, had to rush off but saw this shop and peeped in and saw the nice price.

I just bought P50ST50K at AEON Penang QueensBay for less than RM3500. RM3800 + 10% discount. Sale on-going till either Christmas or New Year (can't remember). Doesn't need AEON membership to get the 10% discount.

Beautiful PQ even for normal TV broadcast.
