One more way is by signing up for cards that give you instant cashback upon succesful application or minimum swipes. An example is the Standard Chartered cards, current promo is enjoy up to RM178 cashback when you apply online. Less RM50 gives you instant RM128 :-) Of course you can only do this once. Previously it comes with 2 years annual fee waiver, so need to check whether the offer is still on or already lapse.
