I'm a bit skeptical on whether we can sustain our high-octane game. Thus its really important in having variation to our games.

Seniors need to show the youngsters on how to play with calmness. Berba and Owen needs real support from the midfield. Carrick might and could do the job.

Hopefully Ramli doesn't get stage fright. I hope his dad called him before to calm him down. smile.gif

Owen and berbatov is slow, why do you think berbatov has not played until rooney and chica got injured they both slow down our play. Why do we create so many opportunities and score so many goals, cos our counter attack speed is too fast for most defenses to react against.

Plus their off ball movement pales in comparison to rooney and chica. Look at how chica moves off ball, he creates space in a blink, partially due to his speed but also because he's clever at creating space and drawing defenders out.

16:58 Tonight's game is a historic occasion for Korea, as two South Koreans (Ji-sung Park and Basel's Joo-ho Park) are set to face each other for the first time in a Champions League match. ManUtd.kr contributor Kim has flown over especially for the event. Basel also have a North Korean in their ranks, Kwang Ryong Pak, but he is expected to start on the bench. (JT)

We are able to field two different teams that plays a different style of football tho, one who plays high-tempo, quick one-twos and the others who plays a slow tempo, calm with focus on possession.

With Rooney and Hernandez out, Berbatov and Owen (or Welbeck?) the main option for me upfront. Macheda for me slows down our gameplay a bit and lacking 1st touch in addition with inexperience, which why prefer him to be out on loan this season. And Diouf, I'm not convinced so far (especially after being jinxed laugh.gif ) but looking forward if he's playing

EDIT: Ah the lineup oredi out lol, 4-5-1/4-3-3?

seems like tonight's game will be another pacey game for us biggrin.gif finally can see valencia in RW. Welbeck really has things to prove tonight if he wants to be a serious 3rd choice for striker this season

i thought he was already deployed at RW when we played Benfica? blush.gif blush.gif

this is 4-5-1, but its a dynamic lineup, so much of position changing can occur throughout the matches for the front
