Since it's comfirmed before, Wizard producer was also Magiranger producer, Takaaki Utsunomiya. So has feeling something similar and fresh new idea, he never touch rider before.

The XVII seems to be reimagination of old tokusatsu from 1977, Daitetsujin 17.

XVII is romanized of number 17.
