In 2011, Kamen Rider Fourze celebrated the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider as a franchise. He went into space and appealed to young viewers with the power of friendship. The show incorporating new ideas and topics, even using a school as the setting for the very first time. This time around, the Rider for 2012 is a magician who transforms into Kamen Rider Wizard with the power of his rings to fight the evil “Apparations”. The design takes various concepts into mind such as the face of a ring as well as general mystic themes.

Cast

Haruto Souma/Kamen Rider Wizard played by Shunya Shiraishi
Souma Haruto hides his true self under a lighter, easily-amused persona. His favorite food is donuts.

Koyomi played by Okunaka Makoto
Koyomi is a strange but fragile girl with a mysterious past, but is she a human or something else? She’s at the center of the mystery revolving around this series. She also tends to the act as support for the others through her ability to tell the future. Due to her low blood pressure, she seems to always be low on tension.

Shunpei Nara played by Junki Tozuka
A young man who aspires to become a magician and find a great master. Although he wants to be able to help people, he’s usually not able to. Though he can be a bit of a trouble maker at times, he has a cheerful personality.

Rinko Daimon played by Yuko Takayama
A rookie detective from the Metropolitan Police Department who becomes associated with those involved in demonic activities. She finds it suspicious that the police are not actively working against the demons and tries to help the others from the inside.

Shigeru Wajima played by Hisahiro Ogura
He is the creator of the magic rings Haruto uses to become Wizard. Wajima becomes the caretaker for Haruto and Koyomi who have been living together. Haruto helps him by testing out the different rings.



Summaries
Kamen Rider Wizard fights enemies that are born on the day of a solar eclipse during an ancient ceremony. Haruto and Koyomi survive the solar eclipse, Haruto disguises himself as Kamen Rider Wizard with the transformation tools given to him by a mysterious white magician. Now, embuded with this strange power, it becomes his fate to fight demons.

Beyond the creation of the evil demons, what was the purpose of the ceremony on the day of the solar eclipse? And what does the hero’s future hold now that he has been fated to fight as Wizard?

The story filled with mystery, excitement and interesting characters will unfold in the autumn of 2012 as Kamen Rider Wizard begins.

Awesome shit, first preview!!! The action looks great and grunt enemies!

The thumb fingger works as sliding so the 4 fingers can go to right and left.
Left clearly shows for his transformation and probably "Style" changing.
Right for his techniques, super attack and finisher etc...


Wait.. wait.. isn't that the voice for rings or belt sounds like Gaia Memories!?

His mission is to save people from despair and give hope to people. By using rings, Wizard is able to use various types of magic. There have been previous Riders that have been based around magical beings and alchemy, but this time the Rider is using pure magic. Last year, there were many people that were surprised over Fourze’s rocket head. It was something so different from previous Riders, but this year Toei are going back to a more simplistic design. He uses a mysterious, yet simplistic, belt to transform. In the original Kamen Rider, Shocker are the ones who made Takeshi Hongo into Kamen Rider, and the monsters that he fought. Wizard will be told in a similar fashion, the solar eclipse that created demons will play a part in Wizard’s backstory. The story begins with Souma meeting the rookie police, Rinko. Souma takes on the role as Wizard and fights the mysterious demons called “Phantom.”

Both his head and body have facets, this is because his design is intended to resemble jewels. In Flame Style’s case, it’s based around a ruby.

The rings on his left hand are intended for form changing, which is why they look like small heads.

While the rings on his right hand are used for magic and the animal in the ring is actually a dragon.

The hand grip on his WizarSwordGun allows him to switch between the gun and sword form.

Kijima and Sonada lost their memories as Horoscope.
I wonder how bad is for Sonada, she become Horoscope since she still a student of AGHS at that time. That's make sense she was not a teacher anymore.

Looking at the preview the Gemini's switcher has brown-ish hair colour.. Yuki's hair is black.

Wizard's power ups is the same treatment as Kuuga's Rising forms, but it is too early they introduced them around episode 8-9 to 12..
Probably next January will also introduce his mid form.

In tv show Plamonsters transform from rings, only toys version looks like pla-model. I guess.

Yuki = annoying
Yuki relating episode = super annoying!

Yuki is really Gemini, resulting of that creating another Yuki, Dark Yuki.
