Yea from what I heard only those companies are sponsoring

Not sure they said they will send an email if you got the sponsorship

Have you seen any ALAM cadets sponsored by companies other than the ones you've asked us to steer clear from?

Then is it correct to assume that you would have to approach these companies individually to get sponsorship and not through an ALAM interview as ALAM is owned by MISC?

Is there any chance for anyone who's bmi is slightly more than normal range to be accepted for alam iv?

By saying no, do you mean to say, the companies approach cadets, not cadets approach companies?

Also, are you still at sea? How's life at sea and on board after your years of experience?

I am a mechanical engineering degree fresh graduate.
So from my understanding, if I want to have a career in seafaring , first I need to get into MEBP or get a coc?

Bridging first. then u will get CoC, after u pass the Oral examination with marine department.

pls only join sailing career if you are from :-

1)poor family as it does gives a shortcut to a better life
2)if u are really interested in sailing life(no life)
3) couldn't find any other job(salary not exactly that high)

Hi , i am currently studying and about to sit for my SPM in 1 month. I am actually very interested in being a ship captain in the future . Can someone please explain to me the requirements and the steps to becoming a captain of a vessel. Thanks !😀. I've been reading through this thread for a while now and find it very informative . But there is nothing about a captain . Please enlighten me thanks alot 🤗!and also about very to study and so on .
