Oh? Now that's a surprise.. one would expect the KLCC outlet to be more credit card friendly since it is a hotspot for tourists.
I have yet to see a long queue at the 1U outlet though.

I have asked Garret Malaysia about this and was told that they do accept CC at the KLCC outlet. Maybe on that day the line was down or something.

From my experience at viewnet so far, yup no surcharge at all.

Just wanna add.. ALL IT IKANO does not accept AMEX.
However there's no surcharge for notebook purchase if you use visa or mc.

Yes they do. No so sure about the labor charge.. IINM, it was stated a minimum of RM30. I always use their oil so it is free. To be eligible you'd have to be an ENEOS member though... the fee is a mere RM5 for 1 year. Anyways no worries about the quality of the oil, they're from Japan after all.

Had lunch at Kenny Rogers 1Utama today and paid with my AMEX. Even though I've used the card there several times before I asked the staff first before giving my card, just to be safe.

Which branch was it? They have like 6 or 7 there. I just bought a new rig at 'The Hub' Viewnet yesterday using my m2amex. My success rate with amex there is 100% so far.

By right all of their stores should accept Amex. Try complaining at their facebook page.

From my experience, kitbag do process the payment there and then. Immediately after payment via paypal (amex linked) I got a text from Maybank confirming the purchase.

Cinnabon 1Utama accepts AMEX

Didn't ask, but I bought around RM30 worth of Cinnabon.

When I bought a laptop there around 2-3 months back, the cashier said AMEX is not accepted. I find it strange because their lowyat outlet accepts amex, using the alliance terminal.
Must be another case of the staff not knowing what to do..

Same here... how is it possible that one person supposedly can pay TM bills with amex via m2u and the rest (so far) cannot?
