Tried using AMEX at Petronas TTDI (pump) earlier today and it worked (as reported by others, just had to try it out myself).
Upon inserting the card, the terminal showed 'MAYBANKCARD AMEX'. I already utilized the maximum weekend rebate with my M2AMEX and would have gotten 8x TP if I use Maybank VISA Petronas card but I just had to use the AMEX to satisfy my curiousity.  |

Tried using AMEX at Nandos Paradigm Mall, the cashier said it's not accepted.

Ms Whatever, Midvalley Megamall accept AMEX.
When I wanted to pay, the cashier said they don't accept but another staff behind the cashier interjected, "eh sekarang sudah boleh, baru upgrade". AMEX not accepted: Mochi (Gardens) Dr. Martens (Gardens) |
