Tried AMEX at Petronas Sarikei, Sarawak just now, at the pumps. Surprisingly it was approved. So maybe it has gone nationwide.

Petronas infront of aeon melaka central works halfway. Shit. Sudden stop during pumping at rm23.07 then retry back amex not accepted. Do u guys experience it?

Amex not available at vivo jusco bandaraya melaka. Store manager reluctant to have amex transaction due to slow/ofline.

Another attempt at validating AMEX acceptance at Petronas. This time at Sibu Sarawak. Filled my truck with diesel and went without a hitch. After this I will make full switch to Petronas.

Guys. Do u know what happen to me? I got an sms this morning stated that ive used my mesra card points 2307 at some Petronas. Ive called Mesra hotline for clarification. I said i never claimed anything and was asked do i use credit card yesterday. The CS mention that yesterday the whole malaysia got problem with credit card for a period of time. Thus no transaction occur at the credit card and they deduct the mesra point instead. This is a bit unfair tho. Deducting points without user permission. |
