Atria is such an old brand and still serves the residents but yea Starling probably cannibalised their business. Too many malls in a 5 km radius with a very fragmented focus and relatively low population. Arguably it’s still doing better than 3 Damansara with not a single super market in it!

Cheras should still do ok being a considerably younger population. PJ people are ageing and well to do with different priorities. Someone perhaps needs to crack the code for a mall serving middle aged and senior citizens.

The murals make this building look like a children’s playground from the 90s when wawasan 2020 was a thing. It really cheapens the building. People want to live in a home not some MRT carriage. The more sensitive will get PTSD of the smells and the meraba raba on public transport.

I’d rather have plain white walls than some tacky design.

Don’t play play with HDB. At least they can sell now and buy landed in Malaysia. The generally good maintenance means that even 30-40 year old buildings look ok with a bit of updates.

Wtf! 500k for over 2k sqft new and no takers. Someone must have died in there.

This is $196 per sqft. Where to find for a brand new unit? Something very wrong. The half a million you save will pay for your maintenance fees for more than a lifetime.

It can just be a normal family or people who appreciate space. These 2k/3k sqft condos got a very different feel to your standard apartment design. There’s definitely a market for it. All these old MK condos are quite huge generally but perhaps quite inefficient with space usage. Is a 10 feet wide living room fundamentally different from a 20 feet wide one?
