i just contacted samsung hotline # to verify my warranty status but the operator informed that only the dealer can perform it for us.

i also tried to register my device at samsung.com.my. after register, i cannot edit any of my details anymore...i stuck at verify your email page..when i click register new device, it will go to other page without any option to register what so ever..

i bought it from local store in terengganu. the guys told me that no need to register anything because SME can automatically detect my phone IMEI # when i claim the warranty at service center. is this true?

I bought from Digi and register myself. I fax over purchase receipt that got my imei number to them. Here is their reply to my enquiry:

i sent an email to samsung service and they just replied and asked me to fax the receipt of purchase to them for warranty verification. as been said by antoo, the original receipt must be kept for future warranty claim at SME service center!!heheehe

Siyah kernel already updated to 1.7.4!! but X-power only use 1.7.3 in its SP.

SiyahKernel v1.7.4
changed UV_mV_table parsing method to make UV scripts with 7 and 6 steps compatible with the kernel. if you have already UV script in init.d folder it will not cause lockups anymore.

where can we get the UV script as mentioned above? how to install it in init.d folder?

just flashed 1.7.4. using setCPU to set ondemand governor min 200 max 1200, add profile screen off min 100 max 500.

no need to adjust the voltages right?

don't want to try the latest X-power 2.0 first? this VR3.0 comes with the Ninphetamine kernel which i don't like that much compared to Siyah kernel.. Goodluck!!

for E-warranty verifications, you can also send it via Samsung.com.my website by clicking the contactus link and attach your receipt of purchase. make sure you write down all your details on the receipt just in case of any future reference. Goodluck!!

just updated to the latest X-power. wipe clean all data before flashing update. guess what? my phone just blank, can't do anything at all.

tried to load the stock kernel tru Odin-> flash .tar file as PDA but my phone stuck on the galaxy S screen and keep looping!!

Thank God i got CWM back up. just restored it before loaded X-power ROM..huhuhuhu

Change back to Cognition ROM for a while. the X-power Red theme give me some deep sleep issue during reboot. argghh!!!

which VR version do you use right now? how about the battery life? need to set any CPU setting?
