No your device is different KI1 2.3.5 is very much newer than KI2 (2.3.3) and KI4 (2.3.4)
Those i9100 on stock KI2 is gonna freak out.

Not sure about batt, but g and non g model seem to have different firmwares as the cpu is different.

Of cos bigger battery is better. But some people don't like the weight or the bulky look or does not fit current casing. It your preference.

But i usually stay away from unfamiliar china batt. I have only use original batt AND momax batt in my previous devices. You should check out momax batt, HK company who for me, make quite good quality batt for a very reasonable price. If you buy momax from local hp shop is quite expensive but if you order direct online from them it is cheaper even with delivery charge. I think above certain limit delivery also waived so really cheap.

If we buy MOmax battery, will it comes with additional back cover to compensate the bulky battery thickness?

The battery pack add a lot of thickness to the phone. i rather get the yaobao or eneloop portable charger than this battery pack. this ruins the slimness of the phone.

Just replace my cheapo RM10 screen protector with SGP Ultra Optics, the quality is suberb! anti-fingerprint plus high clarity, I see no noise now.

The red light is the proximity sensor infra red range finder working.....when you make a call it will light up....or if you test in using androsensor.

I use the advanced task killer to kill every 30 mins...stops crap like gameloft games from running.

That should not be happening...have you tried restarting your phone and freezing any apps that monitor the sensor like androsensor?

The range finder can really drain the battery, that is why it only comes on in calls

iOS has good battery life simply because it DOES NOT HAVE REAL MULTITASKING. JB fixes that (especially with backgrounder) and certain apps like winterboard and SBsettings (and celeste and colorkeyboard and multiflow and activator and crunchSMS and attachmentSaver and ibluever... do you need me to continue with this list?) NEED background processes to live or operate properly. Hence crap battery life after JB.

So why run those programs, you say? Well, lemme ask you back, why JB if you don't?

Right now, the ONLY things I miss from the iOS+iPhone4 combo is AirVideo, iFile, the retina reso, the camera apps and backlit sensor, the DAC and some of the games. Really.

With my hugeass Momax batt, I'm finally getting comparable to ip4 battery life nowadays (in general anyway) plus my old ip4 had a huger-ass 2000mah iWalk Chemeleon battery case semi-permanantly attached to begin with - which still made it thicker then my SGS2 now.

Anyhow, 1-2 more month to go to the great Prime vs i5 showdown, which - unless RIM gets its head out of it pompous ass and gives me my dual-core QNX HDscreened Torch 3 by this year's end - will be the ONLY fight that matters IMHO.

Do not have this problem. If your on stock rom and yet this is happening better go service centre.

Yep Momax, ugly as hell but NOT as expensive as the Mugen AND it's proven by Tids2k's measurements over at Xda to have 2658mah REAL capacity (Spider-Foot/Adinda extended has 2400mah vs the quoted 3500mah).

Can start a bulk for those too if anybody's interested.

of cz its digital zoom its not samsung w880 amoled >.< the one with the lens coming out that is optical zoom..

even nokia n8 the best camera phone is using digital zoom. for me the auto focus of sgs2 is way better than n8 .

did u set it to auto focus on the focus camera>settings>focus mode>auto focus
