You may spread the DE evenly inside the coop, dust bath areas, roost areas and in the runs/yards to help dry up the poop, which helps to also keep the fly population, keep the ticks away and the smell of chicken poo to a minimum.

Yes, that's right. But you may also feed the DE as a supplement.

DE contains 15 trace minerals; calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc iron, phosphorous, selenium, etc. People note better overall health, better production, shinier coats, etc. in their animals who are fed DE regularly smile.gif
