May I know what powder were you using?

If you are going to use the DE, looks like you also need to get used to the dust on the floor (but a safe one) for the sake of your beloved Shishio

The DE contains 15 trace minerals; calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc iron, phosphorous, selenium, etc. People note better overall health, better production, shinier coats, etc. in their animals who are fed DE regularly

While the DE may not severely harm a reptile, it can cause their skin to dry out. As well, it may be harmful for your reptile to breathe the DE in to their lungs.

Sorry, but due to these reasons the use of DE on and around reptiles is not suggested.

I won't suggest using the DE on the hair, but it can be used in bedding and around the house to kill any lice that might be lingering.

It also can be consumed as DE keeps scalp clean and healthy by killing the fungal causing germs that inhabits the scalp. It also kills lice on hairs that cause scalp itching.

And I would suggest your colleague's child to try using J.R. Liggett's Herbal Formula Shampoo Bar as it contains lavender and is very effective against the problem of head lice which we often see amongst school children.

There is no actual flavor or taste to DE and it does not have an unpleasant taste. Expect a clay-like texture that varies in consistency depending on the amount of water you use.

The DE taste won't be noticeable if it mixed with a drink, especially her favorite drink.

Since DE does not dissolve, it may be necessary to stir a few times while drinking to prevent settling.

Actually the more you buy, the more you save on the price and the postage. And the DE has an unlimited shelf life provided you keep it dry.

Poor old dog! I don't think it's his/her fault that Shishio got the virus because we can never ever blame an animal, but human being.

Maybe he/she used to have an owner who neglected and dumped him/her due to old age and sickness

And maybe he/she was just seeking food, drink and shelter during his/her last days

Hopefully the DE will help Shishio bounces back her weight and good health soon.
