I'm having trouble with ad hoc party, not because of PS3/PSP connection but rather I'm in different world. All my friends are in world 2 eg. World B2 Room 46, while I'm in world 1 eg. Worlds B1 Room 46. Any idea what's wrong?

there's no world b1 or b2. is only world alphabet a to t. the number actually quite confusing so i rather name it world a or b. after you choose the world select the lobby. ranging from 1 to 64. then only you can find your room.

example. b2 24. means world b under lobby 24. und?

Actually there is.. or at least I can't find my friends from world 2, they are already in there, me too, but I'm in an empty world. And everyone describes their world with an alphabet followed by a 2, while mine all followed by 1.

if the shop can give you at least two months of guarantee and the price is cheap then you can try to fix it.

My ps3 phat version ylod too.
the shop gave me two months guarantee and it costs me RM210 for that.
well after 5days the ylod is back again. sweat.gif
And i sent it back to the shop again and they are doing it again.

you need to register your warranty under SG PSN.
claim your warranty from Singapore as well.
their service center located at Orchard Road.

Hi guys. Wanna ask something regarding how to go online with my PS3. Please note that this questions come from a real newbie, and might sounds silly to old-timers here icon_question.gif

a) I have a Celcom USB broadband modem and i use it to go online with my laptop everyday. Can I just simply insert the broadband modem into the PS3 USB port and the PS3 will recognize it and go online with it?

Or,

b) When my laptop is online (via the Celcom USB broadband), can I connect the LAN port from my laptop to my PS3 LAN port using the LAN cable and go online with the PS3? You know, like piggybacking the laptop to go online with the PS3?

These two methods just came into my mind this morning and I really need your opinion. Or maybe it is just plain ridiculous and there are other ways to go online? If so, please show me the right way.

The purpose for me to go online is just to simply browsing the internet using the PS3, downloading demos, trailers and stuff and eventually play games online. And since I live in a rented house, and the tuan rumah is not planning to install phone line, USB broadband modem is the only gateway for me to go online.

Thanks bro. I knew I can get something out of the LAN ports.

Regarding the "router that supports 3g modem", can you explain a lil' bit more?
