i think it should go with your home layout and design... like my house, i can't have a round dining table because it will be very odd... just a thought

The shape of the dining table should blend with the layout. In some instances, the rectangular shape may not be suitable. Have to look at the space

QUOTE(magnifizio @ Sep 15 2011, 04:25 PM) Any advice? From your floor plan, I am more inclined to a round shaped table.Basically I have a bar area. So i too wouldnt use the dining table much. Square table for 4 will draw them closer but not much space when you have a few dish plus bottles and glass. you have to put the table toward the center because you have chair at 4 side.
You can get a Rectangle table for 4 with narrower side then flush one side to wall or you can leave small gap for a long bench. You get more walking space. Get a extendable square table if you can't decide now. |

I feel more inclined to get a round table like what phoenix69 mentioned "more space to maneuver"
A rectangular table(if flushed to the wall) would block the clear passage to the balcony which is what i wanted due to the beautiful pool view that came with the unit. |
