Hello hello! From bank as in banks like CIMB, Maybank all is it? I don`t take loans from banks at all actually...Was thinking of it and the banks can really give u up to RM250,000 maximum loan. But to pay back...they only give you like 10-15years maximum time to repay the loan you've applied. Let's say u borrow RM 100K when u grad and start working you have to pay back the loan in 10 years...that will need u to pay around RM833 per month..Ouch! 

So you use scholarship, part time job and money from parents to finance your study there?

No scholarship for me. My parents pay for my tuition fee and I pay for my own cost of living(by working part time). Private students in Japan mostly do this to survive

1) Ok so u want recommendation for best uni for any courses related to food. There`s a course listing book here where they list all the universities based on courses but I don`t have the book with me right now, so I`ll get to u on that ok? Will send u the list later while asking around...my japanese friends might know of these things.

2)Next is japanese language. Ok this depends. If u decide to take it in english then, you don`t need to take the course. But if u wanna do it in Japanese, u just have to coz they wanna see ur level of Japanese. So u need to pass atleast level 2 of the japanese language proficiency.

3) Scholarships. Just try to apply before you go to Japan (Monbukagakusho scholarship can be taken in english) but yes, its true that u need to find a professor to get a placement in a university for grad school. Either way, just try to apply before u go..that way is better right but otherwise, later in Japan also there`ll lots of scholarships around no worries.

4) Empty handed ka...hmmm Muri kana...unless u already got a scholarship before u go I guess that`s pretty much impossible. Because scholarships also u apply, doesn`t necessarily dapat terus. It`s risky la to me. Atleast  don`t go empty handed la...bring some savings just incase. If u`re thinking of finding baito first while applying for scholarship also it will take time...because u need a working permit for students here..to get the working permit alone will take around 2-3weeks...atleast the first 3 months tu prepare some.

Anyway, I understand ur feeling of wanting to come here sooo badly! I was like u too!! I used to like NEWS! OMG YAMAPI marry me! Ok somebody stop meh or else I`ll go on and on and on. Anyway....I really hope u can come coz u really want to! I`ll get the info for unis and will get back to u o(^-^)o

I just applied and still waiting for the result for whether I get the loan or not...but I`m applying for JPA loan...it said that the maximum loan is rm250000 but in my case coz I only have a year plus left...it maybe less than 100k..however, this only covers the school fees they don`t pay for the cost of living, which is the one that can really suck money out of your bank!!

BUT here`s the thing, most universities in Japan offers scholarships from the school itself and other foundations as well. And the best part is you don`t compete with the japanese...you only compete with other foreign students so less competition there...I wont say its easy coz u need a good gpa to normally pass( u should be able to guess by now that my results is insufficient for it huhu) but most of my friends, chinese mostly got it! So should be fine ;p What i love about japanese scholarship is that you are not bonded to their government or anything that requires you to work there or anything! Not like its a bad idea to be bonded with japanese companies or anything tho hihi )

for the university, it doesn't need to be the best...just a normal one is enough i guess. And yes, i do need your help with the list. I'm not really interested in food science which involve too much laboratory work. I'm more on quality, sustainability and environmental.

for monbukagakusho i guess my cgpa doesn't reach their minimum requirement. i search for some scholarship offered for specific uni and course but for food course it's not that many. plus, i must take JLPT first which i don't think i can before the deadline.

gosh....i really need to go to japan. i can't wait for october intake plus i don't really like my workplace now, very low salary, hard to make saving. maybe just enough for flight to japan and live for just 1 or 2 days there...hahaha.

Ok I recommend my japanese language school. My time in Japanese language school was the best time I`ve ever had in Japan! My school is called Asian Cultural Association Japanese Language Institute, shorten to ABK (Asia Bunka Kaikan).
You`ll meet lots of Asians from other countries like Korea, Thai, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Myanmar, India etc etc and of course Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.
