There is one change from the last league outing away at Sunderland. Fernando Torres replaces Nicolas Anelka in attack.

Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata remain the wider forward players and in midfield, Raul Meireles is again preferred to John Mikel Obi in the holding role. Ramires returns after his Champions League suspension.

Romelu Lukaku is among the substitutes for the first time since the Norwich game.

For Man United, Phil Jones will play at right-back with Chris Smalling partnering Jonny Evans in central defence. Michael Carrrick will partner Anderson in the centre of midfield with Ryan Giggs returning to the bench.

There are two changes compared with the previous league outing, the win over Everton last weekend. Those are David Luiz preferred to Branislav Ivanovic in central defence and Raul Meireles replacing the injured Ramires.
Frank Lampard makes the 500th Premier League appearance of his career, Chelsea and West Ham matches combined.
