David Luiz forgot to bless Torres unlike previously at the Bridge against Genk. That's why he didn't score in Belgium yesterday!!!

We need to get rid of some senior players and play more young players. By then we might play like Barca style.

I think this is a game where both managers were pressurised to win at any cost. We're playing away and we can't stop conceding goals over the past few games. AVB won't take this match lightly and I

Is it me or we look so awful than Blackburn? Blackburn solid defenders were positioning well and I can't see our forwards penetrate into their penalty area at all. I think maybe we need to score from set pieces, direct free kick, long range or a penalty kick to win this game.
This is going to be a tight game. We'll be lucky to earn a point if we continue to play like that in the 1st half. I hope Cech's okay because I don't have faith in Turnbull since his arrival to the club. Anyone saw that "Steve Kean Out" banner on top of the sky carried by a plane? It's quite amusing to be honest. |

Lucky win. Our defensive was simply awful. As expected, tight game but I felt relief after the finaal whistle. 2nd clean sheet?
Steve Kean out? |

Mikel's slip reminds me of Terry.
Our defensive was awful. We should play 4-2-3-1. Bring on Romeu and Sturridge!!! |

We don't deserved to win today. Credit goes to Dalglish and his players. We were disorganised, clueless and lack of team ambitious. Our defense department were the worst among all. We just don't give a damn about our fortress and club record.
AVB has broken every club record. His transition work within players were below average. He must understand certain players he has at his disposal will never adapt his style of play. He needs intelligent fresh young players that can move fast. We lost to all the top clubs and Citeh is waiting around the corner. We were like a middle class club. Mourinho was the best manager we ever had and after today we felt even more. AVB rotation policy will never work just like Ranieri. I hate rotation play because players will never show their true potential for not being played every week. As long as AVB choose to rotate his players, we will never find stability. After four months as our manager, clearly we can see AVB still struggling to find his best 11. He better win any cup this season because he's the worst manager we had since the Mourinho era at the moment..... |

QUOTE(torreto @ Nov 21 2011, 08:14 AM) If possible, we would love to have Pep Guardiola management style but then again, our current players will not make it possible. QUOTE(SlomoX @ Nov 21 2011, 09:12 AM) kamon mang cut him some slack... as i remember when he joined us, we all worshipped him and tout him to take the club to its best again... transition takes time be it slow or fast... have faith... we may end up in the championship, but I'll support the team nonetheless... AVB deserved to be slack because of his rotation policy. Rotation will create instability and inconsistent result. Ever wonder why all these while Ranieri never brought us any medals? I'm not saying minor switch of players, I'm saying over rotation for the entire squad. Even our formation looked inconsistent and we almost had no identity. Despite that I still have faith on AVB because we are still in QUOTE(acam2812 @ Nov 21 2011, 04:38 PM) some of my friends who was a chelsea fan switch to man city secara tiba2. haiyo... hate this type of supporters. QUOTE(GravityFi3ld @ Nov 21 2011, 11:59 PM) LoL, Benitez always apply rotation policy during his tenancy at Liverpool.. Oh yes and that's why he never won the league...... QUOTE LoL, sorry if I offended you. I don't see any problem with Cech this season. One mistake against Liverpool doesn't mean he's a world class jackass. Added on November 22, 2011, 2:19 am QUOTE(fariddarif @ Nov 22 2011, 01:21 AM) chelsea is lacking of pace. the movement is static and too slow. we should try to get rid those backward and sideway passes. it will slow our tempo and build up play... This is why I said some players we had at our disposal now were not meant to play a fast tempo game. Give AVB his own men and get rid of some slow footballers.... QUOTE Roberto Di Matteo has sensationally threatened to quit his position as Assistant Manager at Chelsea just five months after being hired. The former West Bromwich Albion and MK Dons boss is reportedly far from happy with his current duties at Stamford Bridge and is pursuing alternatives as he looks to find a manager’s position elsewhere rather than work beneath Andre Villas-Boas who was reportedly far from happy that Di Matteo was hired as he was not his first choice though Villas-Boas was thwarted in his attempt to bring his assistant at Porto with him after the Portuguese club promoted him to Manager. DI Matteo is thought to be considering a move back to his birth country Switzerland or moving back to Italy as has expressed his disappointment at his seemingly limited involvement of first-team affairs. Di Matteo was a surprise choice as Assistant Manager however the move to appoint him was reportedly due to his cult status amongst Chelsea fans who were weary of Andre Villas-Boas rookie status in management. An interesting rumour...... |

I'm cool with AVB if he was given a fair long chance by our club owner but I'm not cool if we're out from the Champions League qualification and keeps on his rotation policy.....

QUOTE Under-fire Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas reportedly called a meeting to bring an end to the divide in the Stamford Bridge dressing room on Thursday. Villas-Boas claimed responsibility after Chelsea lost 2-1 at Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday - a result that puts their Champions League qualification in jeopardy - and the 34-year-old has now moved to unite the squad by calling an extraordinary team meeting. But the Portuguese is reportedly facing questions of his own from the club regarding the use of £50 million striker Fernando Torres, who has been benched for the last three games. The Blues have now lost four of their last seven matches in all competitions. Chelsea have subsequently made their worst start to a season in the Roman Abramovich era, leading to speculation that Villas-Boas could be dismissed just a few months after joining from Porto. Villas-Boas responded to the difficult circumstance at the club, and was quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "In football you live in the moment, and Chelsea's moment is negative. We have to avert the bad results and get into a dynamic of victory. "It's not about what I expect, it's about Chelsea's expectations. Chelsea's expectations are titles, and at the moment there is no title to play for. At the moment the negatives are all out exposed, but that doesn't mean we don't have the character to change it." I'm not suprised about AVB's comment regarding players unity. I sensed that the club were experiencing player mutiny. There's two or more camp in one squad. We have the Spanish camp, Brazilian/Portuguese camp and of course the French/Ivorian camp. The English camp were just neutral. We can't win games if there's no team work. This is not the Chelsea we once knew. Football is not about one man show. It's a team show and currently we're lacking of ambitious, mental, strength and of course hunger for success. Our rivals were enjoying this situation. It's up to AVB and the lads to change and sort things around. KTBFFH! This post has been edited by jovigrunge: Nov 25 2011, 05:48 PM |

AVB's Chelsea life will be scrutinized should we fail to beat Wolves today. If we can't beat Wolves, there's no way we are going to beat Liverpool, Newcastle or even Valencia.
It's time to press the panic button again. We can only have faith...... |

Another 2 - 0 defeat at home to Dalglish's Liverpool. We should loan Lukaku to Owen Coyle's Bolton. We could have won with Sturridge. This is the new Chelsea team that won't bounce back after conceding first goal against big rivals. I don't think we will win anything this season just like last season. The only standout performers were Oriel Romeu and Ryan Bertrand.
Good luck in your future AVB..... |
