Hi guys,

Recently i have tried out ikea's besta tv planner to plan out my tv console.
I was wondering has anyone actually did their tv console with ikea/besta.
Came up with this design:



I was told by my contractor that Ikea's Besta series are made of chipboard.
Hence, if attached to wall with simple wall brackets, the cabinet might fall in less than 2 years.
Any thoughts?

I would appreciate any advice.

I was wondering did u guys installed the cabinets yourself or acquired ikea's services?
As i understand, these wall units requires wall drilling, i am bad in drilling.
So, i would have to get ikea's guys to do it.
But their services are pretty hefty:
Wall drilling
First to fifth hole RM65
Additional holes RM10 per hole

After much reviews, i am still having doubts.
Probably due to the fact that I have no heard from anyone that has actually installed besta in their house.
Has anyone actually did this in their house?

I have no idea how to drill at all.
No tools either.
Installation is not my main concern.
Most probably will get the ikea guys to do it.
My main concern is whether it will hold/last when attached to the wall.
