do remember they have different layout for different country.

Steelseries 7G older generation do have that specific layout if you look clearly on other region 7G keyboard.

Malaysia mostly will be using the normal layout.

just replacing the MX switch and adding color to the backplate only will increase a little minor manufacture cost for manufacturing the keyboard.

they will mostly be using back the same 6Gv2 keyboard with red color plate and cherry mx red switch, the only problem would be how much will the keyboard be.
layout will have no problem.

unless they decide to be an ass and using 1 specific layout only, which highly won't happen.
*
Hard to say, this happens to be specifically made for DreamHack at the moment, that's why the layout is catered for Europeans.

Considering between an internal soundcard or a USB sondcard. Since im retired from competitive gaming, i don't think i'll need a USB soundcard...
*
Take an internal. I never really found much use for my sound card anyway.

QUOTE(Kenzany @ Nov 30 2011, 02:00 AM)
if i were you, i will go for internal as im suffering from lacking of USB (webcam+harddisksss)
*
Desktop still got more expansion options. laugh.gif

There is this Siberia Soundcard that I saw selling in Moderno, is it the same as a 5Hv2 sound card? Seems bigger with more buttons than the 5Hv2 soundcard.
*
Basically same chip, but more functionality. It's the same one bundled with the Siberia V2 USB.

I notice something about Ikari, when you first used it, the clicks is very soft and spongy. But after months of spamming, now it feels like damn hard and firm sad.gif and of course, the whole thing is damn sticky..
*
Probably dust particles getting into the switch area causing it to feel harder and firmer (no innuendo intended tongue.gif)

Sricky? My Ikari Laser's surface got sticky after not using it for a while so I blame lack of use instead of other factors. It happens with rubber based products.

Woi, I saw Steelseries advert on the back cover of PC Gamer magazine, displaying Diablo Siberia and Diablo mouse. Good job with the advert PI. Create awareness smile.gif
*
Awareness short lived as PC Gamer Malaysia is ending its production run already. sad.gif

RM50 difference for the Siberia V2 with USB soundcard compared to the regular one? That's a bargain right there. laugh.gif

The soundcard itself retails for RM159 the last time I checked.

I'm just interested to know Kana & Kinzu v2 PRO price, and then we can see Xai's downfall tongue.gif
*
Or rather, the Xai's continued dominance. laugh.gif

Xai hits it's maturity stage already in the Product Life Cycle  brows.gif

Then slowly.... dying...dying...GONE!

Emergence of the KANA.... side by side with the Sensei.... They have the KANASEI. Little Kinzu will feel left out thou  blush.gif
*
Well if you want to go that way, what about the Ikari then? Ancient pieces of gear? tongue.gif

Truth is, I can't really see how the Kana would completely displace the Xai as a midrange solution when it is an upgrade from the old but gold IME 1.1.

SS should sponsor those CC and dominate CC market in order to improve on its marketing....without it, Razer will still dominate....
*
Yeah, those CCs are in desperate need for equipment upgrade. tongue.gif

what games do you play with a keyboard like that? FPS?
*
I use it to do my assignments too. Basically a mechanical keyboard is not just merely a gaming keyboard but it's a long term investment.

Well, virtual surround will definitely feel more amplified rather than actually giving a huge bonus. I admit it works in some cases, other times, good ol' stereo is good enough.

My Sensei's starting to peel as well but I'm not gonna bother. It looks pretty damn awesome to me with some of the paint chipped off.
