QUOTE(radmaszeal @ Sep 14 2011, 08:45 PM) if you want to get an FS and want to avoid the upgrade bug, your budget has to be at least RM12k. Another cheaper solution is to get whatever bike you have, then...for hardtails it would be rm7k (at least for me la) 1. Always ride alone 2. Never mix around with riders 3. Disconnect your internet at home 4. Only use your working hours for work, no surfing 5. Plan your driving route to avoid all bike shops at all cost |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Sep 24 2011, 09:23 PM) Fell in love with slopestyle! My friend had a Specialized P1, hardtail DJ bike. I always switch bikes with him whenever we ride. I did my first barspin and tailwhip, seriously. Landed on my shoulder for the first few tries of the whip. P1? Where ur fren got it from? I check with SipekSial in KD they say they dun carry. |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Sep 24 2011, 11:54 PM) kaizer, he got the full bike. FR and Slopestyle different mah rite? Slopestyle bike are round 4~5" slack angles travel bikes while FR is more like DH territory? From my understanding, if I were to do tricks and stuff, I might as well get FR bike because most FR bikes have shorter travel and smaller geometry frame. I can still shred in trails. If I get the DJ bike, it's just another BMX frame with 26" rims fitted. Correct me if I'm wrong. Added on September 24, 2011, 11:55 pmBy the way, is it possible to fit in 2 x 10 drivetrain in an 8-speed RD? I would love to get the P1 frame. Short chainstay with ISCG tabs. Sweeeeet! |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Sep 26 2011, 12:29 AM) Sounds crazy right, hehe. I'm gonna treat it as a freeride bike. Most LBS in my area doesn't have much option for a DJ bike and that's a setback. Ya make sure your insurance payment is up to date ok? Added on September 26, 2011, 1:07 amMike, since you're on the lookout for a DJ frame, I hope you can post your findings and pricings here. I'm interested in 1 as well. This post has been edited by kaizer: Sep 26 2011, 01:07 AM |

Try playing with the saddle's fore, aft and height. Even small changes has effect on it. Also cranking a too hard of a gear too long will have problems.
Try those knee wraps in sporting goods store, it might help too. |
