On the subject of rainwater harvesting can anyone suggest a filter system
that will separate the leaves twigs to prevent blockage and spillover?

One hi-end german unit costs RM1280 and that is way too high!

Yup, concrete [1 cu/m] tank is under the sun.
Will use 2 grades of s/s netting to sort out all
debris & mossies, plus breed guppies or
add abate every month.
