1 layer mesh why no good leh? mind explain?

i think most of member here aldy change the filter since second week getting the car we bulk here before for works engineering fiber type filter thats similar to simolta and redline, few of us using stailess steel filter.

Added on October 1, 2011, 11:23 amperformance wise 1 layer lagi best, because 1 layer bigger filter gap that allowed high air flow, but double layer have smaller filter gap that provide better filtration to prevent the engine suck in more dust.

don use K&N cos you need to use their cleaning kit to clean their air-filter if your use other materials to clean their air-filter will void its life time warranty.

I recommend use stainless-steel air-filter cos can easily wash and dry up.

try 130 km/h in WD corner LDP.... stock car feels like floating.....

I am Using maxis value 50 for voice + 68 for 3gb data plan per month. Even if use more than 3gb also won't charge extra but just cap the speed become slow only.

nw maxis dun have tis plan oledi..onli got RM88 for 3gb..once over limit,then will kena charge..tats why i switch to digi..the RM68 for 3gb onlifor maxis broadband nw

i use Maxis Data plan 500mb only. One month also never exceed 200mb also..cause most of the time use Wifi.

As for those over ur monthly Quota, u will be charge RM 0.10 /10kb , is stated at maxis web

Oic. I sign up that time was last yr nov. I sign for 2 yrs contract coz buy ip4 but don want ivalue plan. So just top up data plan only with existing voice plan.

At least maxis speed quite stable and fast. Saw this magazine review compare celcom,maxis and digi and digi speed is lowest when compared speed at different location and connection to local and overseas website. celcom is the highest but not all area same. highest 2mb+, maxis stable at almost all places at 1-2mb, digi ard 0.1mb-0.5mb.

Filteration effectiveness of mesh wire filters are the worst of the lots. They allow the most air to go in thus increase in performance BUT they also allow LOTS of micro particles to pass thru as well. I've use a double layer mesh micro compressor on my ex-wira. When opened up the compressor, can find black powder (dirt) INSIDE the compressor bypass the mesh wire. The mesh wire do filter large number of the powder but a significant portion still makes it thru.

So if you DO value cleanliness of your engine, I would suggest forgoing mesh filters. Its one of the first filters used ages ago before development of paper filters that totally replace them due to much superior filteration effectiveness.

Added on October 1, 2011, 11:20 pmEffectiveness of 3M high end tint is similar to VKool Elite. However 3M has a major weakness as its IRR is even higher than Elite (high IRR does NOT mean better heat rejection although its does counts towards total solar rejection). This means SMART TAG users, GPS and remote has high difficult to get thru them. VKool Elite used to have same issue but seems to have significantly improve of the signal getting thru. Now VKool does get thru Smart Tag lane easily but HAVE to drive thru slowly as detection rate is slower than other tint or non-tint. 3M has lots of issue detecting signal thus some have to cut a hole for signal to get thru just like what VKool did a while ago b4 the improvement.

Other than that 3M is up there with VKool in TSER effectiveness. Price also up there almost same with VKool. I'm currently using VKool Elite for all my rides tho now a bit itchy to put in security tint as instead. But figures TSER still more useful as I spend lots of time in car under hot sun.

hello guys, i want to ask u all on Persona Elegance HU's USB. Since my pendrive can't be detected by it although i reformat it to FAT32 and default allocation size, it might just be my pendrive is unsupported.

so, any pendrive recommendation for me?
