QUOTE(skod @ Sep 28 2011, 03:43 PM) thx guys for the explanation. i never drove before except during taking license/test. do you guys think i can safely drive this flx in traffic jam? very afraid here..afraid hit another car..or worse bmw/merc/lambo i dont think its too sensitive until you can hit another car in front. just maintain your distance like you learn in driving school, sooner you will get used to it, know how to control the throttle This post has been edited by xshiro: Sep 28 2011, 03:50 PM

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Sep 28 2011, 05:01 PM) i think 'simulated conventional 6 speed' is a function that 'hold' the drive ratio over certain rpm, then only release and go for next drive ratio, thats why rpm drop is slow, the gear just have to slowly move to next ratio (CVT characterictic). I don think this function is entirely just for simulation fun, but got certain advantage. My understanding is SAT mode will be more powerful especially uphill because they lock at certain 'gear ratio', like conven auto or manual, of course higher RPM = higher power. Thats why some claim SAT naik bukit is more powerful. Anyway, just explain based on my little understanding, i never drive CVT tranny car before. Added on September 28, 2011, 5:07 pmActually i plan to reduce sensitivity by alter ECU parameter, dun know whether can work or not. My colleague VIOS last time also like this, throttle over sensitive, then he send for adjustment. But VIOS throttle is not DBW la.. im not sure proton diagnostic tool can use to adjust the sensitivity, although i sent my car for pdt before, 'to improve the response', but there is an add-on device that you can control the throttle, there few modes can you can choose, like eco, normal, sport..i think eco will be slower This post has been edited by xshiro: Sep 28 2011, 05:12 PM

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Sep 29 2011, 02:36 PM) Fuel warning comes up only when last bar is blinking. Only reach last bar won't come out 1... ya true... i remember driving viva, i got 2 bars left, i tot still can go further before warning...but the last bar for sure blinking..unlike saga last bar wont blink until few kms of driving so for viva, 2 bars is like 1 bar for saga. then 1 bar for viva is blinking for saga... QUOTE(sg999 @ Sep 29 2011, 04:56 PM) i just refer from saga owner book u try read it. Cool bro u got the point... It somehow proves that, when its blinking, your car will run leaner than before...lean in the long term will damage the catalytic convertor...and damage the engine too if you race the car This post has been edited by xshiro: Sep 29 2011, 05:02 PM

QUOTE(R a D ! c 4 L @ Oct 4 2011, 12:14 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « guys, recently i've revert my 16" to 15". And im planning to change my absorbers as well.
Here's my question:
Now when there's 4 person in the car. with my stock suspensions im getting my new set of tyres hitting the fenders of my car, Im using off set 15" rims with silverstone 195/50.
Im planning to use gab sport absorbers for now, couple with the original stock springs. In the future ill add in Eibachs sport springs(i haven made my research for this springs yet so i do not know whether its compatible with the gab absorbers).
Would it be a good match? And would it fix this problem? I don wanna use adjustables as i know how hard the ride can be.
And is there any other sport springs options for gab absorbers?
Regards, Luke most probably your stock spring is sagged already..not sure about the absorber though...because i would blame the spring not the absorber for fender hitting tyre but in long term, i would recommend fender rolling, the spring will sag after sometime This post has been edited by xshiro: Oct 4 2011, 12:33 PM

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Oct 4 2011, 02:19 PM) kenjilew compiling the nice angle now, will upload asap once done~ R a D ! c 4 L im using 195/50r15 with sapura proride sport springs for BLM, no sagat issue, fender knocking cases until today. springs were in the suspension for 1 year already. i got sagat already...normal drive is fine, but going on slope like north-south highway can hear tyre scraping fender especially when fully loaded permanent solution, fender rolling.. neo is more stable on highway as its heavier...and 1.6L, plus longer ratio gearbox..
saga flx has 1.3L and cvt suppose to help the smaller engine in cruising better..compare to saga blm 4speed auto..
ive been driving 1.3L auto blm on highway, quite good comparing to myvi..of course persona , gen2 , neo are better highway cruiser..but blm does the job fine
now its up to your budget and liking...flx is cheaper
Added on October 4, 2011, 4:41 pmok, if i were to choose another car now, i would go for gen2 cps m-line auto.

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Oct 4 2011, 06:09 PM) boleh. all the "not powerful" is only the brain tricking you. 140 on MEX isn't a problem even on half throttle only. Imagine what is the outcome if pedal to the metal. test drive unit is a CVT unit unfortunately. then both of us go molest something with CVT too, CVT with INVECS-III wow invecs belongs to mitsu.. maybe they tested mitsu cvt This post has been edited by xshiro: Oct 4 2011, 06:27 PM
