apple got cashpile+cash flow to support share price, gold only got "spirit" to support.  tongue.gif

normally when dropped like crazy, it'll either bounce back as dead cat bounce, short-covering or dip buyers or everything, i just follow...no fundamental tongue.gif. On 3rd/4th candle it may draw back or continue downtrend or etc...So, have to let go everything on the 3rd/4th candle. yesterday let go half, today might let go everything.

Is it? I registered at optionsXpress before, and it seems not that simple. So I didn't complete the registration.
So your ameritrade ThinkorSwim can trade everything in US market? How's the average fees? Say if RM5000 per transaction on stock or options, roughly how many % charged as fees? Less than 1%?
Thanks!  notworthy.gif

US brokers' charges is per trade basis. Yes u can trade ETF, stocks, options, futures and forex, mostly everything in US.

Option charges:

01) $1 to $1.5 per contract depending on your size, volumn and pattern of trading, if ur volumn is big, they can give you $1 or lower per contract. How big is considered big? u hv to chat with them. This option is also suitable for small volumn.

02) Also, you can opt for their other selection which I had forgotten, something like $0.70 per contract + $9.95 per trade. This option is meant for bigger contract.

As u can see both option 1 & 2 is suitable for bigger contracts, I opted for 1st option due to its flexibility between larger and lower volumn.

I couldn't recall the stocks charges bsc I seldom trade mother share but their option. I think the package is as follow:

$0.015 per share, min $5 per trade and there is other package which I had forgotten, u'll need to check with them.

More info on charges:
https://www.thinkorswim.com/tos/myAccounts/displayRates.tos

What I like abt TOS is their platform and their efficient chat support. Though their platform is a bit of flaws but so far ok lar...... nod.gif

Market may dip again with an excuse of high oil price that derails recovery.

I seriously think I need to know what is stock options. I thought it is something like call warrant in Malaysia, right?

Differences bet Warrant & Option
01) Companies issue warrants to raise money but companies do not issue options.
02) Exercise of warrants would cause dilution in shareholding base but not options.

Similarities of Warrant & Options
01) Expiry at pre-determined date
02) Based on an underlying asset.
03) Seller obligated to honour terms of warrants and options
04) Buyer must pay a premium upfront.
05) Exercisable at a strike price.
06) When underlying asset is less than the strike price, price of the warrant or option is based on time or volatility.
