QUOTE(spammenotspam @ Nov 26 2012, 12:38 PM) Hi all, I'm looking a laptop for my SME: 1. Preferred Brand: Quality ones, i m thinking ASUS 2. Budget: less than RM 2.5k 3. Usage: Graphic, mostly loading and editing pix using Paint/Photoshop. 4. Preferred laptop/screen size: something btwn 13 n 14 inch.., good battery life also Thank you. QUOTE(spammenotspam @ Dec 1 2012, 01:13 PM) The specs looks good, but 2.4kg, isn't that hefty abit? Mainstream 14" notebooks are usually 2.1-2.4kg yo Now i am looking left and right for Lenovo Yoga 13, but can't seem to find at anywhere, not yet out in market?~ btw, how's the graphic for Lenovo?~! With great performance comes.... less portability hehe~ The Yoga 13 doesn't perform as well as the Asus, but it is much lighter |

QUOTE(Lunar~XD @ Dec 7 2012, 10:44 AM) I have heard people saying Acer, Asus, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Apple, etc. etc. not good as well.Does that mean better don't buy a notebook? Each brand has different category of notebooks, some budget ones, some premium ones. Of course premium ones would have better quality (and thus reliability) than budget ones.. Conversely, don't expect premium grade quality if you are getting a budget line notebook, regardless of brands (with the exception of Apple since they don't have any budget line devices |

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Dec 7 2012, 12:05 PM) Ya ya, listen to God Although the chances of getting bad apples in premium grade notebooks are lower (because of the better built, QC etc.), the probability is still there unfortunately. In which's case the warranty support of the company would come into play |

QUOTE(nexus2238 @ Dec 8 2012, 11:34 PM) Thanks TJ. Btw, BAlm is able to get the GX60 at RM4.3k at pc fair. Really eye popping for HD 7970M spec. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2491914/+500 QUOTE(BAlm @ Dec 8 2012, 11:53 PM) Hello~ yea its a good deal. Anyway the spec: Yeah, the specs is not bad MSI-AMD10-4600M 7970M 2GB D5, 15.6FHD no-glare 8GB RAM 750GB 7200rpm steelseries k/b*no backlit But just like the Y500 (SLI), its all about driver optimization Personally I think the GX60 shouldn't be that expensive |

Hi guys, considering the current Notebook Price Catalog is almost going to expire, and not to mention FULL (I can't even add in newer models for the 11-14" notebooks now X____x)
I was wondering whether you guys have any suggestions on how to arrange the model/ specs in the upcoming catalog? I am thinking of separating 11-13" in post one; 14->15.6" in post two. Should be enough kua? THanks in advance! |

QUOTE(suirbaX @ Dec 18 2012, 06:43 PM) Hi guys, i'm planning to buy a very portable laptop. Look no further I'm looking for something that is light and slim, sturdy build quality (such as aluminium) with a screen of around 13~14" and would last me at least 4 hours of usage. Best if it would have LED backlitted screen, chiclet keyboard, backlit keyboard, decent speakers and touchscreen that comes with Windows 8 No restriction for budget, but keep it low 14" Asus VivoBook S400CA=CA006H, i5-3317U + Intel HD4000 + 24GB mSATA + 500GB + (1366x768; touch)@RM2499[2kg], 4GB, W8 |
