thanks

Usually Intel i7 processors are quad core (4 cores), and are quite powerful, suitable for multitasking, rendering stuffs, but generates more heat and consumes more electricity nod.gif

Asus pricelist updated~
Nothing new laugh.gif

I wonder who's going to get this model laugh.gif
Asus K43By-VX048v, AMD E-450 + AMD HD6470@RM1699, W7HP, at that price range, there are better Intel-powered alternatives, with dedicated GPU summore haha~

Still, the i3 powered U36 seems quite interesting, its no doubt one of the cheapest subnotebooks with superb battery life thumbup.gif
Asus U36Sd-RX359v, i5-2330M + Nvidia GT520M@RM2299[1.78kg]; USB3.0 external OD, Asus optical mouse

also i am seeing

3 series [NP350U2B-A01MY/A02MY/A03MY], i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1799

some sites say its 1.4kg with battery that even beats u36sd but its not stylish looking and a bit thicker than u36sd hows the battery life any reviews? for 1.7k its really good

can anyone tell me where can i dload asus product guide for october?

u36sd does it give 8hrs battery life?
*
So far there's no one from Mobile Computing who got their hands on the 3 series yet... though its a really interesting laptop I would say... Small, yet powerful...

Here's the product guide: http://event.asus.com/my/2011/productguide/PG_Oct_Nov.pdf

Yeah, U31/36 and U41/46 can give up to 10 hours battery life, though it depends very much on what you do while running on battery brows.gif

Hi I'm looking for a portable laptop similar to the HP dm1. Is the dm1 still the best in the market (in terms of price to performance ratio)? Are the new ultrabooks as cheap?
*
The new Ultrabooks start at around RM2.5k laugh.gif

Other alternatives to the Dm1 would be Dell's M102z and Asus 1215b nod.gif

Color options are not nice though sad.gif
And it seems like the 14z doesn't have VGA ports as well doh.gif

Just read some brief reviews on the 14z, some drawbacks:
- Glossy
- Dull color options
- Pointless port covers
