Yeah, using the M14x, the fan is super loud, that's for sure haha, and no doubt is the M14x's biggest drawback

As for the heat, it depends very much on your configurations, those with SSDs were reported to have much lower temperatures

The hottest parts are the right lower palm rest [Optical drive and HDD] and the upper center (Alien head there) [CPU with no dedicated fan]
Err.. Seen the Dell XPS 15 and XPS 15z yet? Those are pretty good as well

The G series are powerful gaming machines, but the screen resolution is sub-par though@1366x768... Unless you import the ones with FullHD lo
