Hi guys. Im currently looking for a laptop within a budget of rm5k. Basically i do alot of heavy designing and i require my laptop to respond fast. Softwares that i use are photoshop cs5, illustrator, After effects and 3ds max. My current laptop can no longer handle the tasks i throw at it lol as i multitask most of the time with photoshop and illustrator both open. One the side note, im actually lookin at m14x but held back due to reviews of hot temp and noisy fan. My friend are trying to convert me to mac but being the lazy ass i am, i feel reluctant to learn a new os. I also have a question for the sifus here : as my work ( design and 3d modelling ) needs fast response from the laptop, what actually is more important? Graphic card or processor? Thanks in advance

Hmm thanks @tj and i see that you use m14x as well. Currently dell is selling the full spec at 4999 if im not mistaken. Is the fan really loud? And is the heat really unbearable? I used to have a lappie that heats up so much on the left hand rest it hurts slightly. Dont really like dell cause their aesthetic is terrible imo. Sigh am also considering MBP15 but news are out that apple will be updating their line of lappies. Damn cause i already need to change my laptop. Sob.

By the way is asus rog g53sw/g53jw series good? Whats the rrp and i noticed that its specs loses to m14x?
